Privacy Policy
What this website collects, which is very little.
Who we are
ZeroLanes is operated by Black Zero. This website is the company’s own site: it describes what the group does and who it works with. You cannot book a journey here, and this site takes no payments.
What this site collects
Two things, and only when you choose to send them.
The contact form
If you send a message, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, the topic you picked and what you wrote. It reaches our support system as an enquiry and a person reads it. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
Email you send us
Pages here list addresses for business accounts, transport companies, careers and press. Writing to one of those sends us whatever you put in the message. That is ordinary email, not something this website records.
What this site does not do
- No analytics. We do not measure visitors, sessions or pages.
- No advertising or tracking pixels, and nothing shared with an ad network.
- No cookies set by this site. There is no sign-in here, so there is no session either.
- No newsletter sign-up on this site.
- No profiling, and no automated decisions made about you.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs of requests, in the way every web server does. Those are used to keep the site up and secure, not to build a picture of you.
How long we keep it
An enquiry is kept for two years and then anonymised, which is the same schedule the rest of our support history follows. If you ask us to erase it sooner, we will.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than the people at ZeroLanes who answer you, and the suppliers that run the site and our email for us. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising relationship to sell it into.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Ask through the contact form and we will answer. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
How to reach us
Use the contact form. It is the route that reliably reaches a person, so it is the one we give for privacy questions too.
